1. Service and parties
These terms govern LangCertix Services LLC's certified Spanish-to-English document translation service for customers to submit to USCIS. Read these terms and the conditions displayed in your order before purchasing. You must be an adult with capacity to contract and have authorization if acting for someone else.
2. Translation scope
The purchased service includes translation and its certification as specified in the order. It does not include legal advice, immigration representation, application preparation or submission to USCIS. LangCertix is not part of the government or affiliated with USCIS. Certification concerns the translation; it does not authenticate the original document or guarantee an immigration decision.
Mirror formatting organizes content for comparison with the original; it does not create a new official record or replace the issuing authority's stamps, signatures or certifications. Notarization, apostilles and other services are not presumed included.
3. Customer documents and instructions
Provide complete, clear, readable files, including reverse sides containing information. Supply relevant instructions and confirm names and contact details. You must have the right to share the documents, including relatives' or children's information. Keep your originals; mailing them is not necessary for a digital order.
Do not request changes to facts, dates or identities, or omissions intended to mislead. We may request a better copy before proceeding if information is missing or unreadable. Changes to source material or new documents may change the scope and require an additional quote, communicated before additional work is performed.
4. Price and payment
The applicable price, page count and delivery options appear in your order summary. The base fee is per page with no word limit per page; available rush options and other extras appear separately. Review the USD total before paying. Later price changes do not retroactively apply to confirmed orders.
Stripe processes payments. You must use an authorized payment method. Your financial institution may apply currency conversion or other charges. Report billing errors with your order reference, without sending full card details.
5. Timing and delivery
Check the processing option selected and any specific confirmation from the team. Timing depends on confirmed payment, usable files and sufficient instructions. Waiting for customer information, changes in scope or technical issues may affect delivery; tell us about filing deadlines before purchasing. An estimate is not an unconditional guarantee.
Digital delivery is in PDF through the order's delivery channels. Physical delivery is included only if available, selected and confirmed. Check your email, spam folder and portal. Download and keep your files; the platform is not a permanent archive. Ordering and payments require internet access, including when using the PWA.
6. Review and corrections
Review the translation before submission and report discrepancies through your order, identifying the page and issue. We will assess requests and correct errors attributable to our translation within the purchased scope. Changing the original or adding material is not a correction to the same work and may require a new quote. Do not independently alter a certified translation or its certificate.
If USCIS raises an issue related to the translation, share the relevant portion of the notice for review. This does not guarantee case approval or replace advice from an authorized professional.
7. Cancellation and refunds
Request cancellation promptly through the portal or contact channels with your order reference. We will assess work status, services actually provided, conditions communicated at purchase and applicable rights. A request does not automatically stop work or generate a refund. We will confirm the outcome and, where appropriate, the amount and refund method. Mandatory consumer rights are not excluded.
8. Accounts and communications
When creating a new order through our form or portal, you must accept operational emails from LangCertix needed to manage it: confirmations, payments, questions from the team or translator about your documents, clarification of details, requests for readable copies, corrections, reviews and delivery notices. Keep a valid email address and check your messages and portal; waiting for a response needed to continue may affect timing. This acceptance covers only the requested service: it does not authorize promotions, newsletters or SMS. We retain the date, version, wording and language of acceptance and the separate SMS choice with the order. Permanent-bounce and complaint suppressions still apply; if you cannot receive email, use the portal or contact admin@langcertix.com.
Protect your credentials. SMS is only offered when the service is enabled and requires separate, optional authorization; it is not a condition of purchase. Frequency varies and message and data rates may apply. You can withdraw SMS authorization and continue managing your order by email and in the portal. See help and opt-out channels in our privacy policy. Accepting operational communications does not authorize promotions.
9. Privacy and document rights
You retain the rights you hold in your documents. You authorize processing as needed to translate, review, certify and deliver them and meet obligations related to your order. This does not grant a general right to publish your documents or use them in advertising. Information handling and retention are described in the privacy policy.
10. Website use and availability
Do not access others' accounts, introduce malicious code, impersonate people or interfere with the platform. We may restrict access to investigate abuse, fraud or security risks while respecting obligations concerning existing orders and payments. Maintenance and providers may cause interruptions; an interruption does not eliminate customer rights regarding a paid service.
11. Responsibility and complaints
We are responsible for the purchased service under applicable conditions and law. USCIS decisions, source authenticity and third-party acts are outside our control. Nothing excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded. Contact us to review any problem; doing so does not limit legally available complaint procedures. These terms do not impose mandatory arbitration or a class-action waiver.
12. Updates and contact
Updates will be published here with their date. Later changes do not retroactively alter a confirmed order unless agreed or required by law. Specific confirmed order conditions supplement these terms without reducing mandatory rights.
